BIOGRAPHY

Samar Mousfy is a trained architect with over 20 years of experience in interior architecture and design in the United Arab Emirates. Her strengths include conceptual and execution design, planning, project management, coordination and client relationship management. Her broad experience, her knowledge of the markets and her vast network of suppliers allow her to deliver high quality designs within budget and time frame constraints. In 2004, Samar founded Quadrature FZ-LLC and has been managing it since that date. Quadrature is an architectural/interior design company established in Dubai with a focus on commercial interior design - mainly corporate. Quadrature FZ-LLC’s portfolio includes major multi-national companies. Quadrature handles every project from conceptual design to completion and offers a turnkey service. Samar’s role at Quadrature includes handling client relationships, handling projects from concept to detailed design and execution stages as well as coordinating with other engineering trades and contractors. Samar also handles sites management . On architectural projects Quadrature partners with engineering firms. Earlier, Samar worked as a freelance architect on substantial projects and handled them from design to completion. Prior to moving to Dubai in 1996, Samar worked as an architect with Khatib & Alami and Simone Kosremelli architects in Beirut. At K&A and Simone Kosremelli architects Samar’s role was to work on the detailed design and execution drawings of several substantial projects and coordinate with the different engineering departments. Samar holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the American University of Beirut. She is a member of the order of Engineers and Architects in Lebanon. She is fluent in English, French and Arabic. Samar resides in the United Arab Emirates; she is married, and a mother of three young adults.
